Taylor Swift Thursdays!

          Luckily it's the 13th of October and TAYLOR SWIFT is in good old NYC. Therefore, this is a special Taylor Swift Thursday! Before we get too excited to speak now, we have to admit that we were slightly on the lazy side this morning and didn't quite make it to the taping of her show. In my defense, she was placed right smack in the middle of Times Square and if you've ever been there on a normal NYC day, you'd know you are constantly swarmed by people. Now add Taylor to that equation and you've got yourself complete mayhem. No thanks!

Taylor has gone down the celebrity marketing path of creating a frangrance called, "Wonderstruck". Its lovable title has come from one of her songs, Enchanted, in which she sings about meeting someone for the first time and that sensation of butterflies and blushing you feel. Just about any girl can relate to that feeling. Which means just about any teen who wants to think that they'll experience that from wearing this perfume will undoubtedly go out and purchase it.

And for all those other fans out there who aren't teens and just weirdo fans, yeah well they can get a piece of the Taylor action too. I mean, come on people, who wouldn't?

Taylor Swift Thursday

In honor of my slight obsession with Taylor Swift and just because I've been driving Cindi crazy by playing it all day; it will officially become Taylor Swift Thursdays. I have to admit that she can really crank out a girly tune in which I always catch myself singing along. From belting break-up songs to heartfelt piano ballads to effervescent revenge songs that make you believe you're singing about love rather than hate, i love it all. If I'm in a terrible mood, I just blast some Taylor (no last name needed, we're that tight) and I feel much better. I suggest everyone to at least try and hop on the Taylor Train. 

Fun Fact: the song Haunted was featured in last weeks True Blood episode.

 Here's a checklist we think every girl should have or should at least consider. It makes the whole waking

up in the morning and not knowing what to wear feeling go away a lot smoother, because most of these

basics can easily be paired up together. And on your way to work or school you know you look like 

less of a hot mess (a.k.a I just woke up and have five minutes to get dressed).

Lizzie McGuire Pregnant! I'm too old for this...

OK. Breathe. I'm not old. Not even close. However, when my childhood idol, Lizzie McGuire, also respectably known as Hilary Duff announced her pregnancy, I had to pause. I watched every episode and swore all my awkward middle school run-ins with boys, mean girls and parents happened just like Lizzie's did. Right down to the obnoxious and weird younger brother.I even tried to dress in her funky clothing and colorful taste, although most of the time I ended up looking like I got dressed in a dark closet.
So, when I think about Lizzie having a child, a little part of me weeps because I know I'm no longer 10 anymore and I am, in fact, getting old...er. It's okay though, we all grow up. Even Lizzie.

I'm just waiting until Miley Cyrus has a kid...then I'll start to worrying about those age spots.
